Our Story

Skincare, in the language of light.

OHR—pronounced "ore"—is the Hebrew word for light. It's also our promise: clinical-grade light therapy and skin tech, distilled into tools beautiful enough to live on your vanity and simple enough to belong in your everyday.

We didn't start OHR to give you another workout. The most transformative skincare technology of our time was already out there—locked inside dermatologists' offices, tucked behind the velvet rope of luxury spas, or buried under clinical language that made real care feel like work. We wanted to bring it home. Quietly. To turn what could be a chore into something closer to a small daily ritual you actually look forward to.

Light, the tool

Red and near-infrared light have decades of clinical research behind them, working at the cellular level to support collagen, calm inflammation, and bring skin back into balance. We obsess over the details—wavelengths, irradiance, the precision of each session—so you don't have to. Across our lineup, from the LED LiteMask and GlowMask to the targeted PrismWand and OhrPatch, the science gets quieted into something you can simply use.

Ritual, the practice.

Skin responds to consistency, not intensity. Our tools are designed to make showing up easy:weighted in the hand, warm in the glow, intuitive enough to slip into your morning coffee or your wind-down before bed. Less regimen, more rhythm. The kind of small, daily devotion that—over weeks and months—quietly changes the way you look, and the way you feel about looking.

Luxury, made yours.

For too long, "results" meant appointments, waiting rooms, and a price tag that put real care out of reach. OHR is our answer: clinical-grade outcomes in objects that feel personal, considered, and unmistakably yours. The spa, the derm office, the science—pulled out of the institution and placed back in your hands, where it always belonged.

We're a New York City–based beauty tech brand, but at heart we're in the business of small daily acts of care—the ones that don't ask much of you, but give a lot back.
